Message from the President Mr. Rauf Khan Pakistani American Voters Association (PAVA)

As President of the Pakistani American Voters Association (PAVA), I am deeply honored to serve a cause that has been close to my heart for decades. Having been involved in grassroots political activities since the early
1980s in Illinois and continuing that work in Texas since 2000, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of civic engagement. From knocking on doors to advocating for voter rights, I have seen how informed
participation can uplift our communities.

PAVA’s Mission—to provide educational outreach, foster community involvement, and encourage coordination within the Pakistani American community in Texas—reflects values I have long championed. Our core objectives include promoting civic participation, raising awareness about upcoming elections, and helping our community better understand the political landscape.

We also strive to build unity and shared purpose among Pakistani Americans and other underrepresented groups. Through collaboration, education, and mutual support, we aim to ensure every voice is heard and every vote
counts.Together, we can strengthen the foundation of our democracy and create lasting impact. I invite you to join us in this important journey.
