PAVA to commemorate International Youth Day on August 12 2025 with Your Empowerment Event
The Pakistani American Voters Association (PAVA) will host a dynamic International Youth Day 2025 celebration, bringing together youth leaders, elected officials, and community members to highlight the transformative power of civic engagement.
The program will feature remarks and messages from an impressive roster, including State Representative Dr. Suleman Lalani, Bushra Amiwala — the youngest Pakistani American Gen Z female elected in the U.S. — and a lineup of accomplished student leaders such as Faariz Afzaal, Elsa Syed, Izza Rizvi, and Misha Rafiq. Speakers will share their journeys in public service, leadership, and political advocacy, inspiring attendees to take an active role in their communities.
“Our youth are the architects of our future,” said PAVA President Abdur Rauf Khan. “By empowering them today, we ensure a stronger, more engaged, and more united community tomorrow.”
PAVA’s mission is to promote civic participation among Pakistani Americans by raising election awareness, increasing voter turnout, and fostering unity.
